In the early 80s, Dirk Debonaire lit up the San Diego party scene. Along with regularly packing area nightclubs, the boys also opened for headliners including Tears For Fears, The Motels and Billy Idol. Their wildly popular 1982 video single, Surf Party, showcased Dirk Debonaire’s raucous, crowd-pleasing party antics. Continuing to combine New Wave/Power Pop roots with playful lyrics, the group released their debut album, Debeachery, in 1983 on Obvious Moose Records. Fervor Records is proud to continue Dirk Debonaire’s left of center legacy!
